As Meister Law Group’s Office and Finance Manager, Tim helps keep the financial side of the firm organized, efficient, and running smoothly. He assists with the firm’s billing practices and financial operations, including monitoring billing activity, tracking financial information, and supporting the day-to-day financial organization of the practice.
But for Tim, the work has always been about more than numbers.
Whether he is working through a billing question, helping solve an operational problem, or simply talking with someone who needs assistance, Tim believes people should feel comfortable approaching him. He strives to provide straightforward, helpful answers and wants clients to leave conversations feeling informed and confident rather than confused or uncertain.
Before joining Meister Law Group, Tim worked in the insurance industry as a licensed insurance agent, where he gained extensive experience working directly with clients and handling financial and policy-related matters.
Tim is also a proud United States Navy veteran who served during the Iraq War. His military service helped shape the discipline, accountability, teamwork, and attention to detail he brings to his work today. He remains close with friends he served alongside aboard the USS Saipan and considers those relationships an important part of his life.
A natural problem-solver, Tim particularly enjoys looking at challenges from different perspectives and finding practical ways to make systems work more effectively. He is committed to continuing his professional development in financial management, billing, and law firm operations, with the goal of helping strengthen MLG behind the scenes so the firm can continue providing exceptional service to its clients.
Just as important to Tim is the experience people have when they walk through Meister Law Group’s doors. Family law matters can involve some of the most stressful and emotional periods in a person’s life, and Tim believes every client deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and patience. He wants people to know that at MLG, they are never viewed as simply another case. They are individuals and families whose lives and concerns matter.
That same philosophy extends to his relationships with his colleagues. What Tim appreciates most about Meister Law Group is the culture the team has built together. To him, his coworkers are more than coworkers; they feel like family. He values being part of a workplace where people support one another, work collaboratively, and genuinely care about the clients they serve.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Tim still considers Cincinnati home and enjoys returning whenever he can to spend time with family. Today, he is a proud husband and father of three, and his family remains one of his greatest sources of motivation.
Outside the office, Tim enjoys golfing, reading fantasy novels, staying connected with his former Navy shipmates, and following his beloved New York Knicks.
And if you ask him how the season is going to end, there is apparently only one acceptable answer:
Knicks in five.
